Thrissur: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Kerala Chapter organized the ‘Always with You’ awareness campaign at the state level, which was welcomed at various centers in the district. IMA State President Dr. KA Sreevilasan is leading the campaign. After receiving the welcome at Kunnamkulam, Triprayar, Chalakudy and Thrissur, the awareness campaign entered Ernakulam district.
The reception held at Hotel Elite International in Thrissur was inaugurated by IMA State President Dr. K. A. Srivilasan. District Committee Chairman Dr. Ditto Tom presided over the function. State Secretary Dr. K. Sasidharan, State Treasurer Dr. Roy R. Chandran, Vice President Dr. Sudarshan K, Joint Secretary Dr. Alex Itticheriya, Dr. P. Gopikumar, Thrissur Branch President Dr. Joseph George and District Convener Dr. Molly Baby delivered speeches.
As part of strengthening the doctor-patient relationship and preventing the increasing number of hospital attacks, the traveling team interacted with doctors and the public. The team asked about the problems of doctors and medical students at Jubilee Mission Medical College, Thrissur Medical College and Amala Medical College. The journey began from Kasaragod on March 6. The journey will conclude at the IMA headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram on March 16.
