The signed papers showed that Sameer was a witness to recovering a banned drug from the Nigerian even as nothing was recovered by the NCB, the reports said.
Kochi: Allegations against NCB Director Sameer Wankhede are mounting as a witness, Shekhar Kamble, has come up with yet another ‘revelation’ against the NCB official.
Kamble, a witness in another drug bust case, alleged that Wankhede made him sign a few blank papers which were used to arrest a Nigerian in Mumbai, media reports said. The signed papers showed that Sameer was a witness to recovering a banned drug from the Nigerian even as nothing was recovered by the NCB, the reports said.
Kamble alleged he was not shown the papers before submitting them as evidence. Kamble said he got the confidence to speak out against Wankhede after another witness Prabhakar Sail alleged in open that he was made to sign blank papers in connection with the arrest of actor Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s arrest in a drug-related case
In a notarised affidavit, Sail said he was a witness to the dramatic events that unfolded after the cruise raid. Speaking exclusively to India Today TV, he said he used to work as Gosavi Sail’s, another witness, bodyguard. In the affidavit, he said he accompanied Gosavi on the night of the raid and was made to sign blank papers. He allegedly said he was not aware of the seizure in which Aryan Khan was arrested.
