BJP marches ahead in Delhi

Kochi: Celebrations begin BJP camp after the saffron party’s march towards forming the new government in Delhi by establishing a strong lead in 46 out of 70 seats today.
The exit poll results have turned out to be true with the BJP preventing the Aam Aadmi Party, 23, seats from attaining a hattrick.
The BJP has been out of power in Delhi.since 1998.
The AAP first came to power in Delhi in 2013, winning 28 seats, but the government lasted just 49 days. In the 2015 elections, the party won a record 67 seats. In the 2020 polls, AAP won 62 seats.
“AAP’s top leaders, including Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Chief Minister Atishi were trailing.
The BJP is looking for a comeback after 1998 while the Congress is struggling to survive.
