Kochi: In a blow to SFI and Left government, the Kerala High Court quashed the action taken against former Principal of Kasargod Government College, Dr M Rama, media reports said.
Observing that the action against her was discriminatory, the court quashed all charges leveled against her by the government.
The court asked the government what action it had taken on various issues including locking up of a faculty member.
The charges were slapped on Rama based on complaints made by SFI. The government had acted against Rama on the last day of her retirement to deny the faculty of her retirement benefits.
She had exposed extensive use of drugs and anti social activities in the campus through an online media. This became the SFI of CPM against her.
