Kochi: Plans to flag off two Vande Bharat Express trains from Katra to Srinagar and one from Srinagar to Katra by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 19 have been postponed due to adverse weather conditions, media reports said.
The IMD office in Srinagar has predicted widespread rains across Jammu and Kashmir from April 18.

The security agencies had conducted combing operations in view of the PM’s scheduled visit.
The Inspector General of Police for Kashmir zone, V K Birdi, conducted a high-level security review meeting for Modi’s visit and his Amarnath yatra beginning July 3, the reports said.
