Kochi: Illegal access of memory card containing assault visuals of the actor in 2017 is a trespass into an individual’s privacy guaranteed by the constitution, the survivor has said.
It was tragically shocking to know about a few persons illegally accessing the memory card which was under the custody of the court, she said in a facebook post.
Privacy is the fundamental right of a citizen and it was the illegal viewing of the card leading to deprivation of privacy guaranteed by the country’s constitution, she said.
It is very scary to know that her privacy was not currently safe in this court, she lamented.
The court was expected to protect and provide confidence to the survivor by building fortresses around her. Instead, the act has crushed the morale of the victim and helped the perpetrators to grow in arrogance.
Stating that she had trust in Judicial officers and was confident of getting justice, she said she was determined to fight till she got justice.
