Kochi: Retaliating to Iran’s missile attack, Israel has targeted Teheran, media reports said.Explosions were reported in the central province of Isfahan while flights have been suspended over some areas, the reports said.
Isfahan is “safe and sound”, said state broadcaster IRIB.Iran has been on high alert after it fired at Israel on Saturday night as a retribution to attack its embassy in Damascus in which top military officials of Iran were killed, the reports said.
Israel accuses Iran of reinforcing Syria and Hezbollah who are fighting Israel.
Iran and Israel shared good relations until the disintegration of the Soviet Union in the nineties. Iran supports Palestinians whom they consider as “oppressed”.
